Information You Share With Us

When you reach out, book a call, or become a client, we typically collect things like your name, job title, company details, business email, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your hiring needs. Once you are a client, we will also collect billing details so we can invoice you correctly.

Information Generated Through Our Services

Your Develean Workspace Portal shows you attendance, engagement, and performance reporting for your own team — this data is collected so you have visibility, not so we can watch over your shoulder. Separately, when we recruit and vet engineers on your behalf, we collect resume, assessment, and employment information about candidates and team members, since we act as their operational employer.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, ours picks up some basic technical information automatically — things like browser type, device, and which pages you visited — mainly through analytics and cookies, so we can understand how our site is used and keep improving it.

How We Use Your Information

Simply put, we use your information to:

We take security seriously — enforceable NDAs, provisioned corporate-grade hardware, restricted internal access, and secure workspace controls are all part of how we operate day to day. No system is 100% risk-free, but we work hard to keep your information safe and treat it the way we would want our own handled.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We only keep information for as long as it's genuinely useful — to serve you, to meet our contractual commitments, or because the law requires it (for example, payroll records are kept longer than a simple website inquiry). Once it's no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Your Rights

If You are in the EU or UK

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it elsewhere. If you have given us consent for something, you can withdraw it anytime. And if you are ever unhappy with how we have handled things, you have the right to raise it with your local data protection authority.

If You are in California

If a link takes you to a third-party site, or your engineers use their own tools like Slack or GitHub, those have their own privacy practices — this policy only covers what happens on our end.
